Our County championships were kindly hosted at Belle Vue Sports Centre in Hartlepool on Saturday 22nd October and we were delighted with the very good entry with 13 bouts on the day. We are sincerely grateful to everyone at Belle Vue for making us all so welcome together with the local Tyne Tees and Wear A.B.A. who assisted us with this event together with voluntary helpers from our Association.
Our County winners progressed to the Regional rounds and once again we had several winners who moved forward to the Quarter Final and the Semi-Final stage. Many of our Boxers then progressed onto the National Finals where 5 became National Champions.
