Our Executive Youth Officer – Alan Watson has championed a fantastic initiative over the last 2 years by gaining a partnership with Apple – not only in the UK but also in the USA where a range of training has enabled the association to gain more skills and expertise in the use and range of Apple products and equipment.
This has resulted in several clubs accessing training at the Apple Metro Centre where our thanks must go to Apple staff Ron and Dan for giving up their time to support our project with several clubs utilising the training to produce video clips of events particularly girls football activity and footage from the Ocean Youth Trust sailing experience. Special mention also needs to be made of Keith Vickery (Apple USA) who has provided advice and support in the making of our new association promotional video. Our thanks must also go to Ann Watson in providing additional support in the making of the promotional video.
The DABGC staff team have also gained individual training from the team at Apple (Metro Centre) for which they are extremely grateful.
Following an initiative that has been running for 3 years with Apple at the Metro Centre, we are extremely grateful to them for providing to DABGC staff and a range of clubs, some one to one and group training, advice and support. These projects and field trips continue to be open to all our affiliated clubs.
