We aim to foster and support the development of clubs in areas of need and to present opportunities that allow young people to learn and grow.
Today our Club base has expanded to between 65-70 clubs embracing new activities along the way. Our geographical area still remains the old County Durham area incorporating South Tyne and Wear and North Cleveland ( basically from the Tyne to the Tees) and includes:
- General Youth Clubs
- Boxing Clubs
- Football Clubs
- Fire Cadets
- Durham Agency Against Crime
- Cleveland Youth Association
- Athletic Clubs
- and others providing a wide mix of clubs from rural to inner–city.
All have one thing in common – that is to give 100% support to helping our young people become first class citizens as they progress into adulthood. By investing our time in Young People – it lasts a lifetime.
Our goal is to present opportunities to young people so they may take part in a wide range of activities to increase their personal and social development.
Durham Association of Boys & Girls Clubs are committed and dedicated to supporting young people throughout the region to help them to achieve their goals and become a valued member of the local and wider community.
